"Bonnie" the Flemish Giant Rabbit Stolen from Her Home in Hosford-Abernathy Neighborhood - 07/03/13
The Portland Police Bureau is investigating the theft of a rabbit from a Southeast Portland home. "Bonnie," a Flemish Giant rabbit was stolen from her hutch outside a residence in the 2200 block of Southeast Woodward Street, sometime between 9:00 p.m. on June 27 and 8:00 a.m. on June 28, 2013.

"Bonnie" is described as a 19 pound white rabbit. "Bonnie" was not wearing the hoody at the time of the theft.

There is no suspect information on the person responsible for the theft. The victim has worked with the Oregon Humane Society to accept the rabbit from anyone who brings "Bonnie" in to the shelter, no questions asked.

Under Oregon law, theft of a companion animal is a Class C Felony.

Anyone with information about this theft can submit it by email to CrimeTips@PortlandOregon.gov.
