The suspect in the shooting of a Klamath County Sheriff's Deputy is over. 30-year-old William Parkerson has been arrested and will be charged with Attempted Aggravated Murder and Assault with a Firearm.
The deputy was shot during a traffic stop in a Klamath Falls neighborhood. Sheriff Frank Skrah says the deputy was shot before he could draw his gun. The deputy was shot in the face and side.
The suspect fled in a 1989 Jeep Cherokee with an Oregon license plate of ZFQ 270. Police are still looking for the vehicle.
The deputy was flown to O.H.S.U. in Portland where he's in serious, but stable condition.
