Woman's body recovered from Clackamas River

Searchers spent the weekend looking for the body of 26-year-old Meagan O'Meara-Clark after she went missing on Friday.  She was in a raft on the Clackamas River when she jumped in near the Carver boat ramp.  Strong currents pulled her under.

Her body was found by a family member who was helping with the search.  She was in 15 feet of water near the location where she went under.

Clackamas County Sheriff's Office boat crews were nearby and searching another part of the river with an underwater camera.  They responded and recovered the body.  It was turned over to the Medical Examiner's office.
